Booking Policy

Prices are displayed as “from” rates and may vary based on your stylist, hair length and density. A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment and is deducted from your final bill.

Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit your deposit. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may not be able to complete your full service and your deposit may be lost.

All colour services require a skin test at least 48 hours before your appointment. This applies to new colour clients, visits after six months, or any change in colour service or medical history.

Highlights

Foil technique used to lighten sections of hair from root to tip.

Half Head vs Full Head?

Half Head

Highlights or balayage applied to the top and sides of the hair (including parting and front hairline).

  • Adds brightness and dimension
  • Ideal for maintaining existing colour
  • Quicker and lower cost than a full head

Full Head

Colour applied all over the head — top, sides, and underneath.

  • Creates a full transformation or complete coverage
  • Best for lighter, brighter looks
  • More time-intensive with fuller results
Do I need a skin test before colour?

At K&Co, your safety is our top priority. All clients having a colour service (including tints, highlights, balayage, glosses, or toners) must have a skin test at least 48 hours before their appointment.

Why Is a Skin Test Required?

Even if you've coloured your hair before, allergies can develop at any time. A skin test checks for any sensitivity to the ingredients in Redken's professional colour products, ensuring we can carry out your service safely.

When Do I Need a Skin Test?

You'll need a skin test if:

  • You are a new colour client at K&Co
  • It has been 6 months or more since your last colour appointment with us
  • You are having a different type of colour service than usual
  • Your medical history, medications, or skin condition has changed
